Now that Lynn and I have retired we spend most of our time having fun flying our single engine plane around the country playing golf, trout
fishing at Gaston's Resort, or just sightseeing and researching our family tree looking for new kinfolks to add to our genealogy website. We might be in St. Louis visiting family one day and be soaking up
warm sunshine at South Padre Island, Texas the next.

You can see we use our plane to fly to places that we probably would not drive because
of the distance. Our Mooney makes a long drive a short flight. You can see we enjoy it very much.

Flying into grass strips like Bonair at Greers Ferry lake or Gaston's
Resort below requires full attention for a safe landing. Both places offer beautiful close up views of
the Ozark Mountains and makes for an exciting trip. Takeoffs are another challenge.

We might be getting ready to go to the Emerald Coast of Flordia, Gulf Shores, St Louis,
Southern Texas or the Fort Myers area of South Florida for some golf and warm weather. It really doesn't matter they
are all just a few hours away in our "magic carpet" Mooney. and the best part of going is the trip there and back itself.
